5 Most Frequently Asked Questions for Making Money Online
Have you seen “make money quickly and easily with an online business” and thought those amounts look impossible? I don’t have any customers. I wouldn’t know where to start. You can’t make money online.
In this blog, we’ll look at 5 of the most frequently asked questions for budding online entrepreneurs about starting an online business.
Can You Make Money Online?
Yes!
Many people make a full-time income online and can replace their jobs.
There is no miracle way of starting an online business today and making lots of money tomorrow. Instead, it is about following a specific process that gradually builds up income.
For most people, they can make a small amount within 90 days. But the average is 6-8 months to get regular recurring income.
Keep following the process and within 18 months to 24 months the website should be making sufficient income regularly to replace a full-time wage.
Keep working on the website for another 2 – 4 years and higher-level incomes are achievable.
I Don’t Have any Customers, Can I Still Make Money
When you build a website and start adding specific types of content to the website then customers will find you.
One of the reasons I say 6-8 months to start earning a regular income is the customers need time to find your website and build trust in you and your products.
Customers can find the website organically, meaning they look for specific information through a search engine and find your website.
Search engines will rank your website based on providing good value content to your website. The more good content added the better ranked your website will be. The easier it is for customers to find you.
Part of a marketing strategy should include posting information about your online business through social media platforms and letting your followers know you have a new business.
You’ll soon have customers ready to buy your product or service

This website is The Online Entrepreneur. When I searched for onlineentrepreneur.com the domain was available but for £26,000 which was not reasonable for the website.

How Do You Make Money Through a Website
There are many ways to make money through a website. Some of the most common and successful ways are
Affiliate Marketing
Affiliate Marketing is selling other people’s products through a link unique to you. Each time a customer clicks on the link and buys a product through the link you earn a commission.
This is the easiest way to get started with an online business.
Create Your Products
Ultimately, having your product produces more income. But, it takes time to create a product to sell.
For myself, I have several products
- Books – these are sold through Amazon and I get paid each month for each of my books sold. I also earn a commission for each time someone reads a book through Kindle.
- Courses – Mini-Courses can be bought from my training website. These are self-learning courses where the buyer works through several modules.
- Membership Sites – where someone joins a group of like-minded people sharing information and supporting each other. Live training sessions are included for members.
- Coaching – live training sessions. I run the training sessions through Zoom in a group format
- Consultation – Providing 1-2-1 consultations is a higher-priced item.
- Advertising – advertising can be through AdSense or private advertising where you receive income for each time someone clicks on an advert.
